7 days from Casablanca to the Marrakech

Itinerary & program of

Day 1: Airport Casablanca _Exploring Marrakech.

Our driver will pick you up from the airport of Casablanca and you will drive straight to Marrakech. when you arrive Marrakech, we will start our visit of the old medina.First you will start with the famous and the UNESCO heritage site of Jamma Lfna,Alkotoubia mosque,than walk to visit the oldest places in the city,the bahia and baddi palaces.also you will visit an old medrassa called Iben Youssef. Marrakech also is know with its traditional souks that look like a web. Lunch in a local restaurant .after lunch you will see the botanical garden ,the majorelle garden .and after that it will be a free time for you to wander by yourself. Overnight in Marrakech

Day 2: Marrakech _ Ait Ben haddou _ Ouarzazat _ Dades Valley.

We will pick you up at 8:00 and starts our day by drive towards Ouarzazate through the Tizi Tichka pass at 2260 m over the High Atlas Mountains. You will enjoy the landscapes  and the beauty of Berber villages. We will visit Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou ,which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco , and it is a UNESCO historical site(this famous kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 film). We will have lunch at  the Kasbah before we continue to Dades Valley via Ouarzazate,called as the Hollywood of Africa. We will pass along the Road of the thousand Kasbahs, before stopping at Kalaat Magouna. It is well-known for roses and its annual festival during May. We spend this night in the heart of the Dades Gorge in local riad/guest house with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 3 :Dades Valley-Todra Gorge_ Erfoud _ Camp.

After breakfast in the riad, we’ll drive through the valley to see rock formation “the monkey toes”. Leaving the Dades Valley towards Tinghir and the Todgha valley we’ll see panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Arriving at the Gorge you’ll walk under the 300 m high red cliff, where many Rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Continuing on to Erfoud where we’ll have lunch and afterwards, we’ll arrive the village of Merzouga, where your camel will be waiting you. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and a desert scarf before your camel-ride starts heading into the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi, guided by an experienced camel guide of course. After; one hour and half you will get to the highest sand dunes to see one of the best sunsets in your life after that you well get to our nomadic Berber tents  where you will have dinner, camp fire, drum party and over night stay in the desert.

DAY 4 : Merzouga _ Ziz valley _ Medalt_ Cedar Forest _ Ifrane _ Fez.

Your camel guide will wake you up to see the sunrise, then you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. Arriving  back in Merzouga and after breakfast and hot  shower in the guesthouse, we’ll leaveto Fes via Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt, stopping in Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and refresh with a glass of mint tea before continuing to Azrou, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where we’ll stop to see the Barbarian apes in the cedar forest. Then we continue to Ifrane called the French village or the Switzerland of morocco , stopping for a picture or a drink before arriving Fez.
Overnight in a local riad in Fez.

Day 5: Exploring Fez

The tour guide in Fes include the old medina and the new medina.with a local guide in Fes you will delicate the day to discover the oldest, intelectual medina in Morocco. you will start with the royal palace,the Jewish quarter,the up hill viww from the south Bourj,the ceramic-pottery-store-and-factory.and after all this places you will go for a long walk inside the medina to discover the very different life of it and  the cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University – the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you’ll visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. Overnightin Fez.

Day 6 : Meknes _ Rabat _ Casablanca.

Today mot are going to visit Meknes which is one of the 4 imperial cities after Rabat , Fez and Marrakech. You will see Lahdim square, like the square of Jamaa lafna in Marrakech. Also, in front of the square you can  see the biggest Gate in Africa which is Bab Mansour and the artificial lake in Meknes  . After that we continue our way to the capital of Morocco which is Rabat. Rabat is located on the Atlantic coastline at the mouth of the river Bou Regreg, opposite the twin city of Sale. The first stop will be at the Kasbah Oudayas. Next on the agenda is the fascinating site of the Hassan Tower dating back to 1185. The minaret rises up to 44 meters, and was believed that it would reach 88 meters. However in 1755 it was largely destroyed by an earthquake. Opposite the Hassan Tower is the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a monument of modern Morocco. After, we visit the capital ; we cuntiue our way to the biggest city in Morocco which is Casablanca. Overnight in Casablanca.

Day 7 : Casablanca _ Airport.

Today is the last day in our trip. We will visit the biggest mosque in Morocco and the third one in the world which is Hassan 2 mosque. After that, you will transfer you to the airport Mohammed 5 in Casablanca; about 3 hours before your flight time.
